Application profile
With continuous expansion of infrastructure construction in countries, increased diameter and depth of the pile and wall foundation and higher quality standards, how to increase drilling efficiency, reduce pollution of slurry on the environment based on assuring construction quality is the issue to be met and resolved for the foundation project circle.
In the process of foundation construction, purification treatment of slurry plays a key role in increasing drilling efficiency, assuring holing quality, reducing construction cost and reducing environmental pollution. How to reasonably configure the slurry circulation and purification system, timely remove the drilling slag and control the slurry index, different drilling and construction methods are required, and the slurry purification and treatment system technology research is required. According to different index requirements at different stratum and in combination with research achievements and experience in the slurry circulation and purification technology in relevant construction methods, the following several implementation construction proposals are recommended for the supporting slurry treatment system in the piling wall foundation project construction.
 
I) Performance of influences on hazard solid phase
1,Influences on drilling rate
  With high solid contents, density, viscosity and shearing force of the slurry are increased and rheology is weakened. The pump delivery performance is reduced, cleaning effect at the bottom of the hole is poor and the drilling rate is reduced sharply.
2,Influences on slurry film
      Thickness of the slurry film depends on size, quantity, shape and plasticity under certain pressure of the solid phase particles. If the slurry film is too thick, the drilling is not smooth, which may cause pumping or fluctuated pressure and hole collapse; and block drilling accidents and etc.
3,Influences on the slurry circulation system
         If the solid phase content is larger, mechanical wear of the slurry circulation system is more, which makes early wear of the slurry pump blade, the drill service life is shortened and drilling efficiency is reduced.
 
II) Method of reducing solid phase content
Dilution method: dilute with a lot of clear water, which consumes treatment agent and water, and is not safe in the hole.
Replacement method: replace slurry with high solid phase content with the slurry with low solid phase content, which is high cost and inefficient.
Sedimentation method: sediment the drilling scrap with gravity, which needs a relatively longer circulation system (a large floor area) and a long time, but the results are not excellent.
Mechanical purification: vibration screen, rotary flow separator, centrifugal or pressing filtration separator and other mechanical purification equipment is used for compulsory sand or slurry removal. The mechanical treatment method is superior to the dilution method and replacement method on economic and operation efficiency.

Technical and performance parameters of desander products of series ZX
1) Maximum slurry treatment capacity of the desander (system) includes 20-500m3/h in accordance with different machine models; through equipment integration and combination, maximum treatment capacity of the system can satisfy the demands of slurry treatment of the project, and the single set treatment capacity can reach 3000m3/h.
2) Based on different slurry particle separation indexes, the single desander can constitute multi-level treatment system. Clients can select one-time treatment with separation particle sizes of 74, 45, 30 and 20μm or pre-screening plus several times of sand and slurry removal equipment.
3) Based on different slurry treatment capacity, vibration screens of the products are provided with several vibration models (ellipse and straight line), multiple dimensions, multiple insulation vibration means, multiple screen models, regular or frequency conversion control. Screening capacity of the slag includes 10-200t/h series, which matches efficiency of the drilling and shield tunneling.
4) Water content of the products screened from the sand soil layer is lower than 30% and satisfies the demands of transporting to the outside.
5) Upon reaching the single separation indexes, density of the slurry to be treated is less than 1.3g/cm3, less than 30s for SUS funnel and sand content less than 20%.

Through the above data analysis, the following analysis conclusion is obtained:
1. If the desander is used in the process of holding, solid phase content of the slurry is effectively controlled, performance index of the circulating slurry is improved, drilling time is reduced by 73.5 hours, hole clearing time is reduced by 20.7 hours and holing efficiency is increased by 31.40%.
2. If the desander is used in holing, dry slag 30m3 is separated, which reduces the volume of slurry transported to the outside 70m3 and the reduces the quantity discharged to the outside by more than 54%, avoids uncontrolled sewage at the construction site, improves civilized construction, reduces environmental pollution and saves costs for discharge to the outside.
3. If the desander is used in holing, electricity of 5284.80 kWh and water of 119t are saved, which reduce construction cost and are consistent with the low carbon and environmental protection guideline of building the saving society and promoting green and environmental protection.
4. If the desander is used in holing, sand content of the slurry is controlled at lower level, which reduces wear of the machine tools, improves piling quality and guarantees safe drilling.
